Characteristics

The construction is in glass composite material with epoxy resin and a core in termanto, but compared to the “Asell”, the displacement is heavier and the weight is more concentrated amidships. Deck geometry is linear and simple, but with the same ergonomic concepts of the Vismara 34 of 2002, the inspiration behind the even more comfy cockpit, from which one enters on board through a lower and more comfortable entrance. This careful study of more versatile use of craft is also to be seen on “Ababai,” which has also been designed for sports cruising use. In fact, although the interiors are basic, they are carefully designed and also comfortable and well equipped. The layout includes a central open space, bordered by a cabin aft and one fore, with a bathroom, but the design solutions used aim to have convertible spaces, which become multipurpose for the creation of larger spaces for different uses, as required. This is the same on board the “Asell,” for example, where we find a system of bathroom doors that can be used to turn the bathroom into a handy passageway. The sail plan is representative of the latest aerodynamic concepts and therefore, has a large mainsail and a small jib plus a mast without backstay and with spreaders angled at 30°.
