Concept

The new Vismara 56 TWIN (Vismara+Mills) is the result of the idea of open company Vismara.

After the great success of the Vismara Mills 62 SuperNikka, the job with Mark Mills is lead to develop a new sail yacht for an experienced owner, who was looking for an high quality blue water cruiser with tested solutions, made with the best composite material, the yacht is able to sail with lightness as the Vismara yachts in the last 30 years.

In this new project is also involved Lucio Micheletti who is in charged of the interior design.

Construction

An innovative and harmonious hull made of carbon fiber and epoxy sandwich, post-cured at a controlled temperature of 60° for 24h. An high quality mix of structural furniture and teak Burma for a blue water cruiser for sailing in the Mediterranean in a great comfort, a perfect integration of elements and Italian style. This is the way Vismara Marine used in the last 30 years to launch all the high technological fast cruising yachts, able to minimize the displacement of this 17,00 m to only 14.000 kg. A twin rudder blade and a certification Oceanic A for the maximum in terms of safety and comfort.

Interiors

Mr. Lucio Micheletti has developed the interior design with the Vismara Marine Spa project team. The mew Vismara 56 Mills has three cabins layout, each ones with its bathroom and king size beds. The master cabin is on the bow in front of the dinette. The access to the fourth crew cabin on the top of the bow is through the master cabin or through the hatch. In the dinette there are lots of space thanks to the kitchen that is in front of the dinette so that the maximum beam will be for the guests comfort.

Sail plan

A great project, with a great feature need to be rig with the maximum of the quality. A carbon fiber mast, with a park avenue boom, carbon fiber rigging and rod staysail. Hydraulic rigging for vang, backstay and for the mainsail track. At the end the easy sailing is completed with two electric winches. Automation and the high quality carbon fiber sandwich able to ensure the lightness of the yacht will ensure the sailing with a reduced crew on board and in perfect harmony with the elements.

Sailing in complete autonomy

Over the deckhouse are set four high efficient solar panels each ones connected with regulated charger dedicated to ensure stability of the system and preserving the best state of the gel batteries. After the success of the Vismara 47 FC, Vismara Marine is ever more friendly with yachts able to give the owners autonomy in the consumption on board. You have only to enjoy the life on board during the daylight in the bay or sailing downwind without any generator noise.
